Again, Bishop Kukah Knocks Buhari, Says APC Failed To Fulfil 2015 Promises

The Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Sokoto, Matthew Hassan-Kukah, has again knocked the Muhammadu Buhari-led federal government for failing to fulfil the promises it made ahead of the 2015 general elections.

Recall that Kukah had in a Christmas day sermon titled: “Let us turn a new leaf” accused Buhari of leaving Nigerians more vulnerable and the country more corrupt than when he assumed power in 2015.

Also speaking on Monday in a television programme, Bishop Kukah said the present administration is full of nepotism and corruption.

According to the clergyman, no government can allow one person to steal N12 billion without figuring out how the money was being moved.

Ahead of the 2023 election, Bishop Kukah called on Nigerians to speak up and hold their political leaders accountable for their promises.

While stating that Nigerians did not as the Buhari Govt to make promises in 2015, he said it was his and Nigerians’ responsibility to make sure they fulfil such promises.
