A video of veteran Nollywood actor, Zack Orji asking for the 2023 presidency to be zoned to South-East has resurfaced online.
Naija News reports this is coming a few days after Zack Orji declared support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.
In the video, the actor stated that zoning the presidency to the South-East will ensure peace, unity and national cohesion in the country.
He said: “And I want to state that is only fair and just and the interest of equity and national justice
That the presidency should be zoned to the South east If we must have peace and unity and national cohesion in Nigeria”
‘Why I’m Supporting Tinubu’ – Zack Orji
A few days ago, the veteran actor in a video sighted on Twitter, said his support for Tinubu is based on experience and observations, having lived in Lagos for over 40 years.
Zack Orji described the APC flagbearer as a man who stands for justice, equity, fair play and national cohesion.
He said: “My support for Bola Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu is both experiential and personal, I have lived in Lagos for over 40 years. I have always known this man as a chief crusader of the democratic consolidation of Nigeria.
“I have always known him as a man who stands for justice, equity, fair play, and national cohesion. In his time as the governor of Lagos state, he ran an all-inclusive government, drawing people from different ethnic extractions into the executive council as decision makers to run the affairs of the state.”
