Schoolgirl Who Cried Over Parents Absence At Graduation Find Favour

A primary school girl, Wasilat Bashiru, who broke down in tears because her parents were unable to attend her graduation ceremony, has been awarded a scholarship.

The 11-year-old Head girl of God’s Light Group of Schools, Oyo town, Oyo state, had cried during her graduation party, moving to tears one Oluwakayode, a Mc invited to the graduation ceremony.

Kayode shared Bashiru’s story on the microblogging platform, Twitter, noting that the young girl was at the verge of dropping out from school.

Moved by the story, a Nigerian woman and her husband took pity on the little girl and promised to sponsor her through school.

The woman, Oluwafunmi made this known via Twitter, as she noted that Wasilat deserves an opportunity to shine bright.

She tweeted: “Myself and my hubby @DeleMotors will take over funding her education. She deserves to have a brilliant future. Kayode pls send me a dm lets get the ball roll!! We rise by lifting other.
