Remo Star duo Franck Mawuene and Isah Ali have been ruled out of the Nigeria Premier League Super Six playoffs.
The Sky Blue Stars head coach Daniel Ogunmodede disclosed this in a chat with the media.
Togolese Mawuena, a striker was ruled out of the competition after failing to recuperate from an injury he sustained during the regular season.
Ali, who is a defender, is still recovering from a meniscal tear on his left knee.
Remo Stars will take on Enyimba in their opening game of the Super Six playoffs at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos on Saturday.
The competition will run from June 3 to June 11.
