Right back Bright Osayi-Samuel believes the Super Eagles need more time to gel, and urges the fans to be patient with the team.
Osayi-Samuel was the only of shining light in Super Eagles’ 1-0 defeat to Guinea Bissau last Friday.
The defender was making his home and competitive debut for the team and gave a good account of himself.
The Eagles will be up against the Wild Dogs for the second time in three days and a win will take them back to the top 2023 AFCON qualifiers Group A.
“The team is a very young squad with talented players and we had so much connection.”
“So, if we can keep playing together as a team and have our chemistry together, we will build that foundation of how good we can be and start to show other countries how good we are.” Osayi-Samuel quoted by Punch Sports.
The match will hold at the Estadio 24 de Setembro in Bissau onMonday (today).
