Veteran Nollywood actor, Okey Bakassi has tackled the Chairman, Lagos State Park and Garages Management Committee, Musiliu Akinsanya better known as MC Oluomo for fingering the Igbos as part of those responsible for selling stickers to commercial drivers to fund Bola Tinubu’s presidential campaign.
Naija News had reported earlier that there was a commotion on Tuesday in the Agbado area of Lagos State after transport workers were forced to pay N500 to place Bola Tinubu’s campaign stickers on their Keke.
In a viral video seen by this news platform, one of the union men at the park was seen mounting pressure on a Keke driver to pay N500 as he attempted to forcefully place the stickers on his Keke.
The Keke driver, however, argued and insisted on not paying a dime, charging the supposed union official to take off the sticker from his Keke.
The development generated a barrage of reactions as netizens hurled insults at the candidate of the APC whose photo was seen on the sticker.
But reacting to the video, Mr Akinsanya said it was either the Igbo or the PDP who are responsible for the ticket sales to discredit Tinubu, presidential candidate of the APC.
He urged his supporters to hand over violators to the police after beating them.
“Whether it is you, the Igbos who are devising these means or opposition PDP, don’t give us bad names,” he said in Yoruba Language in a video reaction.
Reacting to this Okey Bakassi questioned why MC Oluomo had to drag Igbos into the drama.
Commenting on an Instagram blog post, the father of three wrote: “Why drag Igbos into every problems in Nigeria? The hate is unnecessary and it’s becoming boring.”
