Obi-tuary: A Million IPOB Can’t Bring Down Omatseye

Omokri Speaks On Spike In Ritual Killing, Internet Fraud

Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has said that a million members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, will not be able to bring down veteran journalist, Sam Omatseye.

Naija News recalls that Omatseye alleged that supporters of Labor Party, LP, presidential candidate Peter Obi were sending him death threats following his column titled Obi-tuary.

The journalist had described Obi as a shelter for miscreants.

He had said: “Obi has turned out to be an excuse for even closet Biafrans, to betray open emotions about Biafra, without being accused of it.”

Following the publication, the columnist alleged that the followers of the LP flag bearer were threatening his life.

Reacting to the alleged threat via Twitter,  Omokri who is a staunch supporter of Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, said that IPOB could not bring down the writer.

Omokri wrote: “Sam Omatseye is one of the most intelligent men in Nigeria. We belong to different political camps, but he is a near-genius with the pen. A million IPOB mob can’t bring him down!

“May God protect Sam and his family from these disguised IPOB mobs. In Christ’s Name!”
