The Nationwide Emergency Administration Company (NEMA), on Saturday, confirmed the demise of two individuals and the rescue of two others from a three-storey constructing that collapsed within the Yaba space of Lagos State.
NAIJATABLOID had reported that the three-storey constructing beneath development, situated on Akanbi Crescent, close to the primary gate of the College of Lagos, UNILAG in Yaba collapsed on Saturday.
Mr Ibrahim Farinloye, NEMA Zonal Coordinator, Southwest, who spoke on the incident mentioned 5 staff had been trapped within the constructing,
“Two of them have been rescued alive, however two grownup males had been recovered useless.
“Search and rescue operations are ongoing,” Farinloye instructed NAN.
