The sacked coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria, Austin Eguaveon has criticized the federation saying he wasn’t in support of the sack of Gernot Rohr.

As the technical director of the team, Eguaveon said he suggested to the NFF that Gernot Rohr shouldn’t be sacked.

On Monday night football on SuperSports, Ikpeba said: “Eguaveon was not in support of the decision to sack Rohr”.

“Yes, I complained about the timing as it was too close to the Africa cup of nations”.

Ikpeba went ahead in the show to criticize Victor Osimhen for not converting his half chances.
