Sophia Momodu, the first babymama of Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, popularly called Davido, has shared a cryptic message in her first social media post since the demise of Ifeanyi.
Naija News recalls Davido and his fiancee, Chioma Rowland lost their three-year-old son to a drowning accident on Monday, 31st October 2022.
Since then, Sophia has been silent on social media but surprisingly returned on Saturday night with a cryptic message.
In the post shared on her Instagram page, the mother of one noted that everyone is fighting their own battles.
According to Sophia, life is not easy, hence, she is praying to God to help her to be more patient and empathetic with everyone around her.
She wrote: “Everyone’s really fighting their own battles. I pray God helps me to be more patient and empathetic with everyone around me. Life is not easy.”
In a subsequent post, Sophia also wrote: “Peace belongs to me. Joy belongs to me. Freedom is my inheritance because I am a child of God”
Davido Speaks On AWAY Festival
Meanwhile, Davido has postponed his scheduled AWAY music festival to a new date.
Naija News reports that the singer made this known through his management in a press statement shared online.
The statement noted that postponing the event was a difficult decision but it was necessary and all ticket buyers will be honored on the new date.
Davido‘s management also apologized for disappointing his fans and promised to come back with a bigger and better show on Saturday, November 18, 2023.
