Fredrick Leonard And Peggy Still ‘Honeymooning’

Newly wed Nollywood star actors, Frederick Nnaemeka Leonard and his colleague, Peggy Ovire Enoho are still ‘honeymooning’ since their November 19 wedding or so, a bird whispered to Moviedom. The relationship between Leonard and Peggy dates back to 2015, when Frederick confirmed they were dating. However, in 2017, Peggy in an interview denied romantic affiliation with the actor. She described the actor then as a “friend who encourages her.”

Peace Ayiam Osigwe Goes To School
WEEKS after delivering a successful eighteenth edition of the prestigious Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA), CEO and Founder of the global reward system for filmmakers in Africa and the diaspora, Peace Ayiam Osigwe, has hinted that she is off to school in the UK in about a week.

At a media parley she addressed during the week to announce the call for entries for the 2023 edition of the AMAA’s, President of the Association of Movie Producers (AMP) who holds the national honour of Member of the Federal Republic (MFR), said in passing that it was time for her to head to school in the UK.

Those who heard her thought she meant that she was going to UK to rest after such a busy year with the AMAA’s and the Africa Film Academy (AFA) Film-in-a-Box training initiative, but the writer, filmmaker and President of the Federation of Nollywood Guilds and Association clarified that she was heading to the UK to take a course in filmmaking.

“There’s a lot that is going to happen in the production space in Nollywood in 2023 and beyond and so, it is time to go and recharge for the task ahead,” she said, adding that the countdown to the nineteenth edition submission for the AMAA’s started from December 1st 2022, with late entry deadline fixed for June 30, 2023. Ego Boyo Kills Two Birds With One Stone In London
ACTRESS and Producer, Ego Boyo, was at Selby Abbey in London to witness the gorgeous wedding and all glam wedding ceremony between Rita Dominic and Fidelis Anosike. But unlike a few celebrities, including Chioma Akpotha and Mildred Okwo who had to travel from Nigeria to the United Kingdom for the wedding, the honcho at Temple Productions and producer of critically acclaimed movies such as A Hotel Called Memory and The Ghost and the House of Truth was already in London for the premiere of her sixth movie titled The Ghost and the House of Truth (TGHT). So, Ego who showed up and stayed through the wedding and reception in a gorgeous black and white attire used a stone to kill two birds— superintend over her premiere, which held between December 12 and 16, at the Court House Hotel in London and also witness the union of the year.

TGHT is Temple Productions second collaborative work with award winning director Akin Omotoso. It stars multiple award-winning actress Kate Henshaw, Fabian Olojode and Lala Akindoju.
