Chief Elvis Agukwe, a Chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Imo, on Thursday condemned the killing of Dr Chike Akunyili, widower of the late Minister of Info, Prof. Dora Akunyili.

Agukwe advised the Information Company of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja that the killing was unlucky and referred to as for an intensive and uncompromising investigation.

“The brutal killing of Dr Akunyili is extremely regrettable and condemnable. Killers should be dropped at e book.

“Their actual intentions should be revealed. I’m nonetheless investigating why the person was killed. Is it an unintended demise or deliberate,” he queried.
