Nollywood actress and Action Democratic Congress (ADC) Deputy Governorship candidate in Rivers State, Tonto Dikeh, has spoken about her failed relationships.
Naija News recalls that Tonto was married to Olakunle Churchhill and the union produced a child before it crashed in 2017, with the actress alleging that her ex-husband was an internet fraudster and ritualist.
In 2021, Tonto Dikeh, made headlines when he found love with Delta State politician, Prince Kpokpogri and many fans pleaded with her to take her relationship off the internet but their pleas fell on deaf ears.
In the thick of their blossoming romance, their relationship crashed with Tonto making a series of allegations against Kpokpogri.
I Don’t Regret My Relationships
In an interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwu, Tonto said she has only one regret in life but definitely not her relationships.
According to her, the first relationship gave her the most lovely child in the world, and her second thought her a big lesson.
The single mother of one noted even if she receives true love from anyone, such a person could also be a devil.
She added that she has no right to regret how her romantic relationships turned out because she put herself there.
In her words: “Honestly, I have always regretted one thing in my life but my relationships no, my first relationship give me the most beautiful boy in the whole world, and the second one thought me that even if you show me, true love, you could also be the devil because I learned a lot from my relationships so I will never say I regret it.
“Should I have been there, mmmm, well If I was to take myself back I wouldn’t have gotten myself involved or indulged in that but I don’t think I have a right to regret what I went through because I put myself there, all I have to do is to grow, learn and move on.”
