No fewer than 19 individuals misplaced their lives in a deadly motor accident that occurred alongside Damaturu to Potiskum street on Thursday.
The secretary of the Basic Hospital Damagum, Malam Hamisu Mu’azu, stated the accident occurred alongside Fune city in Fune Native Authorities Space of Yobe State.
He stated the accident concerned three gulf vehicles, two of which have been conveying passengers from Damagum to Maiduguri for a marriage ceremony.
In response to him, 19 folks died immediately, 12 out of them are members of 1 household in Damagum.
“Whereas the opposite one was coming from Damaturu, the opposite two have been stated to be heading to Postiskum they usually had head-on collision at Fune city. The accident was on account of over rushing and reckless overtaking by the drivers,” Hamisu stated.
He added that solely two kids survived from the 2 vehicles they usually have been taken to Educating Hospital Damaturu for therapy.
