Tell us a bit about your early years before Nollywood?
My early years in Benin were very interesting. There were lots of restaurants serving local dishes as well as an active nightlife across the city. We also had many spontaneous comedians who headlined standup comedy shows so there was never a dull moment growing up.

How and when did you venture into acting?
I started acting professionally in 2022 and have been privileged to feature in some notable Nollywood movies like Jamal (produced by Slize Entertainment), Nokafiemwin, Mistakes of the Night, Emwanta No’Lehe, Agbuhuenze, Osaivbie, Emwen Dna, among others.

Tell us about your roles and the experiences so far in the movies you have been in?
I am a character that every cast and crew would like to stay glued to while on set. The movie production process is really encompassing as it drains actors’ minds through rehearsals and masters. Though quite interesting, it can be very stressful.

What other things have you been involved in?
Asides acting, I am also into the sales of fashion fabrics for both male and female as well as luxury collections. So I can be your surest fashion plug while entertaining you.

What is your favourite fashion piece, something you would never leave home without?
I really love makeup, it gives a final touch to every look.

Who inspires you?
I am inspired by people around me.

If you weren’t acting, what would you have been doing?
If I was not acting, I would be in the beauty business full-time. It gives me the avenue to travel around. I am also a good backup singer and dancer, so if I was not acting, I would have been singing and dancing.

Mention three things that make you happy?
Being around good friends, going out and watching good movies.

What are your hobbies, what do you enjoy doing?
I like business conversations, acting, singing, dancing and meeting top people.

What kind of movies would you like to feature in, in the nearest future?
I am a fervent lover of Nollywood movies and it is high time we promoted our own creatives to the world. I would like to work more on Nollywood movies.

Can you say there has been any challenge so far nurturing your career in the industry?
The challenges in nurturing a career in this part of the world are numerous, and our government has a major role to play vis-a-vis creating at least, an enabling environment for art to thrive. We have seen so many content creators who have emerged and are thriving solely through their hard work and no support. This is to tell you how lucrative entertainment business could be only if the government can create the right environment for it to soar and really thrive.
