Flying Eagles midfielder, Victor Eletu says his can has the talent and qualities needed to go far in the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
The Flying Eagles are through to the next round of the tournament, following Wednesday’s 2-0 win over Gill Azzurrini of Italy in Mendoza.
Eletu was instrumental in the game, controlling proceedings in the middle partner with Daniel Daga.
“I know we can go far in this competition because we have a very good team,
“We played as a team and that’s why we could beat a strong opponent like Italy,” Eletu said after the game.
Eletu and his teammates will aim to finish their Group phase campaign by avoiding a defeat when they will take on Brazil on Saturday.
