Watch Moment Pa Ayo Adebanjo Stormed Ibadan Rally To Join Peter Obi

A video showing the moment the Leader of the Yoruba Pan Socio-Political Group, Afenifere, Pa Ayo Adebanjo led the group to the presidential rally of the Labour Party in Ibadan, Oyo State has surfaced on social media.

Naija News reports that the rally witnessed a huge turn out of LP supporters in a jubilant mood on Wednesday.

The video that surfaced captured the moment Adebanjo who led his group to the rally was ushered into the podium and received by leaders of the party.

Amongst other members spotted is the Secretary General of the group, Sola Ebiseni, and some other members of the Afenifere were also in attendance.

The group had endorsed the presidential candidate of the party, Peter Obi after a series of meetings with its counterparts comprising the Middle Belt Forum, the Pan Niger Delta Forum, and the Ohanaeze Ndigbo, as against endorsing Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, who is from the South West.

Peter Obi States Real Reason Afenifere’s Pa Adebanjo Decided To Support Him

Meanwhile, Peter Obi has given the real reasons the apex Yoruba socio-cultural group, Afenifere, and its leader Chief Ayo Adebanjo are supporting his presidential bid.

Obi on Wednesday at the party’s campaign rally in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital stated that Adebanjo and Afenifere are standing for justice and fairness by supporting him.

Obi said the apex Yoruba socio-cultural group, and what its leader stands for today is what will make the future of Nigeria.

He said “Let me tell you what Ayo Adebanjo and Afenifere are standing for today is what will make the future of Nigeria. They are standing for equity; they are standing for justice, they are standing for fairness, and only equity, justice, and fairness will be the foundation of which we will build a united Nigeria.”
