Valentine’s Day: Share love, not HIV – NACA warns youths

The Nationwide Company for the Management of AIDS (NACA), Dr. Gambo Aliyu has suggested younger Nigerians to know their HIV standing and keep away from dangerous behaviours in celebration of Valentine’s Day.

NACA’s Director Normal, Dr. Gambo Aliyu in a Valentine’s Day message in Abuja, Friday, talked about that “HIV an infection is at the moment highest amongst younger folks aged 15-24 years.”

He warned youths to like correctly this era by sharing love and avoiding any conduct that’ll make them weak to HIV.

In accordance with him,“You will need to cut back this worrying pattern amongst Nigerian youths by encouraging devoted relationships for individuals who can not abstain from intercourse to follow safer intercourse.

“This era is famous for younger folks to specific their love for each other, I urge Nigerians, particularly the youths, to specific love inside the context of caring deeply for his or her family members and keep away from conduct that can make them weak to HIV/AIDS.”

Aliyu pressured that well being and productiveness have been important to the way forward for Nigerians.

“So, I urge you to keep away from dangerous behaviors as we commemorate Valentine’s Day. Love Properly, Share Love not HIV. Get a HIV check at the moment,” he mentioned.
