An interesting summer transfer window awaits Nigerian striker Victor Boniface, as the Forward is on the wishlist of several clubs, BRL has gathered.
Boniface is currently having a great campaign with Belgian Jupiler league title challengers Union Saint-Gilloise, netting seven goals and contributing five assists in twenty-seven league outings.
He also has five goals and one assist for them in this season’s UEFA Europa League.
His amazing performances however have caught the attention of some teams in Europe’s top leagues, with Napoli and Union Berlin said to be among potential suitors.
According to reports, Napoli scouts watched the forward and are impressed with his talent, and have penciled him down on their transfer list.
The 22-year-old is reportedly seen as one of the potential successors to his compatriot Victor Osimhen, who is linked to a number of clubs.
However, Napoli is not the only club showing interest. Bundesliga side Union Berlin are also tracking the player.
The striker delivered a complete performance against the German club in the Europa League few weeks ago, netting two goals and an assist, as Union Saint-Gilloise recorded a 6-3 aggregate win in the round of 16.
He has convinced the board of the Berliners and they could submit a bid for him in the coming weeks.
Boniface arrived Union Saint-Gilloise from Bodo/Glimt last summer following the departure of Deniz Undav.
