Troops of the Nigerian Military (NA) have neutralised 4 Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB)/Jap Safety Community (ESN) gunmen at Ihiala city in Anambra State.

The Director, Military Public Relations, Brig-Gen. Onyema Nwachukwu, in an announcement issued on Wednesday, mentioned the gunmen implementing the unlawful sit-at-home order fired sporadically in and round a filling station in Ihiala city.

He mentioned: “On receipt of a misery name, troops of the NA launched out to the situation to revive normalcy. On intercepting the dissidents, a firefight ensued, and the gallant troops neutralised their chief, Ejike and three others.”
