The series depicts the ridiculous, absurd, and humorous behaviors displayed by each member of the family, including the friends of the family members and the domestic workers, seeing happenings through the eyes of each sibling in the family.

Big Brother Titans – January 15

The Big Brother Titans, a combination of the Nigeria and South Africa’s franchise of the reality TV show has been in the news for quite a while, with application alerts amongst many more. The start date has been announced and it has been confirmed to show on Showmax as well.

This variation of Big Brother will see contestants from both Nigeria and South Africa live in the same house, competing for a cash prize at the end of the show.

As usual, the show will rely on votes to keep housemates in the game, while evictions would go on as with every other Big Brother show.

Wura – January 23

WuraWura follows the story of Wura-Amoo Adeleke, the ruthless CEO of Frontline Gold Mine, a loving mother of two and an ideal wife.

When it comes to managing her business empire, Wura is the ultimate iron lady who doesn’t give a damn whose ox is gored in order to get what she wants. In the eyes of her family, Wura is faultless and a saint.

The episodic drama stars Scarlet Gomez as Wura-Amoo Adeleke, Yomi Fash-Lanso as Anthony-Amoo Adeleke, Carol King as Grace Adeleke, Ray Adeka as Jejeloye, along with many other Nollywood veterans and upcomers.

Emmy-nominated performer Yvonne Orji picks up where her debut special left off by returning to the stage to provide her perspective on the pandemic, estate planning, growing up as a child of Nigerian immigrants, and the harsh reality of dating. 

The comedy special showcases her range and vulnerability while also acting as a no-holds-barred therapy session for both the performer and the audience. It features a distinctive mash-up of stand-up comedy with scripted vignettes.
