Good morning Nigeria, welcome to Naija News roundup of top newspaper headlines in Nigeria for today, Friday, 2nd December 2022

President Muhammadu Buhari slammed State Governors on Thursday over the corrupt practices surrounding the fund allocation for local councils’ administrations.

Naija News gathered that the president has described the treatment of the administration at the local government level by governors as unfair.

According to him, it beats anyone’s imagination how some state governors would collect funds on behalf of local council areas in their various states and remit half to the council chairman, noting that such funds further deplete the remittance in further pilfering of public resources.
