Peter Okoye of the P-Square music group has warned Nigerians against voting for the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu in the 2023 election.
The singer warned that the party has nothing new to offer Nigerians as it is the incumbent and the country is not any better for it.
Instead, he urged citizens of the country to vote for the Labour Party (LP) and its presidential candidate, Peter Obi in the 2023 election.
Naija News reports he made the call on Sunday in a short statement via his Twitter account.
He wrote, “If another APC has the solution they would have helped the current APC in their mess. It is just common sense.
“Don’t waste another 8 years! @NgLabour @PeterObi”.
Nigerians Must Say No To Same Faith Ticket
The Northern States Christian Elders Forum (NOSCEF) has advised Nigerians to reject the same-faith ticket fielded by the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2023 presidential election.
The Chairman of NOSCEF, Ejoga Inalegwu, gave the advice while speaking during the forum’s congress in Kaduna on Saturday.
Naija News reports that the APC Presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, who is a Muslim from the South West, had chosen Senator Kashim Shettima, who is also a Muslim from the North East, as his running mate.
The Muslim-Muslim ticket of the APC has generated a lot of criticism from many Nigerians and groups such as the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and the Catholic Bishops of Nigeria (CABN).
