The Little Mistake And Internal Disagreement That Made APC Lose Bayelsa And Edo States Won't Happen In 2023 - Giadom

The national vice-chairman south-south of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Victor Giadom has predicted victory for the ruling party in all the states from the region in 2023.

Giadom said however that the party must work with synergy, unity, and purpose to actualize this dream.

Naija News reports the APC chieftain pointed out that “internal disagreement” and a “little mistake” made the party lose Edo and Bayelsa State governorship elections but vowed that there won’t be a repetition of such.

He spoke on Wednesday in Abuja while addressing newsmen after a visit to the Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege.

“We are here to ensure that we work with synergy, unity and purposefulness so that we can win the remaining states in the south-south come 2023,” he said.

“You know that we lost Bayelsa for what I will call a little mistake. You know that for internal disagreement, we lost Edo State. That is not to mean that APC is not strong in the south-south. We are going to test our popularity in 2023.

“We will ensure that we work together, bring victory to the entire south-south zone of this party and bring back APC in the six states of the south-south zone come 2023.”

Giadom added that his visit to Omo-Agege was to thank him for different roles in supporting the party across all levels and to discuss specific ways of positioning the APC for victory in the south south in 2023.

“We have come to have a meeting with our leader and a proud son of the south-south who has done so well for this country, to thank him for the support he gave to all of us in the just concluded national convention and to solicit his usual support to reposition the party in the south-south so that we can ensure victory of the party in 2023,” he said.

“You know that it is our responsibility to ensure that we drive the party to success and claim the six states in the south-south.”
