The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) says it has completed the training of 121 aviation security officers.

That is contained in an announcement by Common Supervisor, Company Affairs of FAAN, Mrs Henrietta Yakubu, on Saturday in Lagos.

Yakubu stated that the safety officers have been drawn from Abuja, Maiduguri, Yola, Jos, Gombe, Dutse and  Sokoto.

Others got here from Zaria, Kaduna, Kebbi, Makurdi and Katsina airports.

She stated that the personnel have been taken by means of the obligatory six weeks Safety Coaching Programme 123 Primary Course, which was each mental and bodily.

In accordance with her, “Among the matters taken through the course embrace overview of laws, entry management, individuals and car, airport emergency (Primary hearth prevention).

Others have been screening procedures, x-ray picture interpretation, efficient communication, safety of parked plane, cargo and mail safety and first help coaching, amongst others.

Yakubu stated: “In accordance with the necessities of the Nationwide Civil Aviation Safety Coaching Programme (NCASTP), the trainees all attained the 70 per cent go mark earlier than graduating.”
