A fresh attack has reportedly left ten persons dead in another community of Zango Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

Naija News reported on Sunday that no fewer than 17 corpses were discovered after an attack on the Ungwan Wakili community of the same local government area.

However, in this new attack which was confirmed to pressmen by the Chairman of the local government, Francis Sani, another ten persons died.

This online news platform understands that the attackers invaded the community around 9 pm on Tuesday, shooting sporadically to scare residents.

The Council chairman, who confirmed the attack called on residents to remain calm as he called on the state government to deploy more security personnel to the areas.

However, the National President of the Atyap Community Development Association (ACDA), Sam Achie passed a vote of no confidence on a section of the security operatives deployed to the area to protect lives and property.

He decried the silence of the state government on the persistent attacks in the area while calling on the government to walk the talk.


Achie, who commended the Mopol in the Langson community who were reported to have repelled the attackers after they raided a shop asked residents to be on the alert to protect their communities and property from future attacks.
