Veteran singer and actress, Onyeka Onwenu has opened up on previous struggles as a younger married lady.
Onwenu in an interview with media character, Kikilomo Atanda-Owo stated though she didn’t need her marriage to finish, it could have killed her if she stayed.
She revealed that her marriage was troublesome and was not good for her and her kids.
She stated: “I went by way of my marriage, it was troublesome as a result of I actually didn’t need my marriage to finish however I couldn’t take it anymore, it could have killed me.
“I at all times say this and that’s the fact. It was not good for the kids to dwell in that sort of setting the place the mom is depressed, the mom is carrying the burden of the entire household.”
Onyeka Onwenu, whose estranged husband had remained a thriller through the years reportedly married a Yoruba Muslim in 1984 and so they had been blessed with two kids.
