Nigeria’s leading sports media house, Brila hosted sports fans to a fiesta ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup on the 20th November at the Legacy pitch of the National Stadium in Surulere, Lagos.
The event started with a 5-aside football competition between the fans from Lagos Island playing against fans from Lagos mainland.
Winner of the football match slugged it out with the Brila own football team, popularly known as Brila Bees.
Brila bees, however, was victorious in the final match after coming from a goal down to win 2-1 with former West Brom defender, Ifeanyi Udeze bagging both goals.
Betwinner, the official sponsor of the event was on ground to present gift items to Sports fans at the venue on the day.
The match watch party followed the Football competition as the fans gathered together to watch the opening ceremony and the first match of the 2022 World Cup between hosts Qatar and South American side, Ecuador.
Ecuador ran away with the win, with former West ham forward Enner Valencia bagging both goals. The raffle draw took place almost immediately and winners got prizes and gift items including Tv set, Microwave oven and others.
Other sponsors including Budweiser, Glo, and mobility startup, Shuttlers were also available at the Legacy pitch to offer support, and give other gifts items.
