Speed Darlington has expressed his disapproval of Nigerian female singers, Tems and Teni who he believes are mimicking Nigerian superstar, Tiwa Savage.

Speed Darlington, in an appearance on a podcast, referred to the similarities in the first letters in the names of Tems, Teni, and Tiwa Savage as a pattern.

He claimed that, at the risk of coming out as envious, he had to point out that Teni and Tems’ choice of stage name is a parody of Tiwa’s name.

The presenter tried to point out that the stage names of the two female singers are essentially birthed from their real names, but Speed Darlington was having none of it.

The musician and content producer who became well-known for his unusual style of music and eccentric social media activities claimed that he thought musicians should be creative and that Tems and Teni lacked imagination.

Teni and Tems, according to Speed Darlington, have failed to take risks with their stage names and have instead mimicked Tiwa because her moniker has gained her recognition.

Most individuals who are familiar with Speed’s brand will not be surprised by his comment because he has a reputation for saying absurd and humorous things.
