The winner of the Big Brother Naija season 7 edition tagged ‘Level Up’, Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, best known as Phyna finally addresses the question of seemingly betraying her friend, Amaka.
The popular show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu who had a chat with Phyna asked how she went from accepting to talk to Groovy on behalf of her friend, Amaka to establishing a romantic relationship with him.
Replying to the question, Phyna stated that she liked Groovy from the onset and opened up to him about it. She avowed that Amaka was aware of this but it appeared like she never took her seriously.
Phyna claimed that she actually spoke to Groovy about Amaka but noticed that whenever she invited him to their room for a chat, he always sat on her bed.
Speaking further, Phyna affirmed that when Groovy asked her out she had to accept owing to the fact that he didn’t like Amaka and she (Amaka) already had Giddyfia upstairs. According to Phyna, Amaka’s plan was to keep Giddyfia upstairs and Groovy downstairs.
Phyna added that she tried as much as possible to avoid having issues with Amaka so it doesn’t look like they were at war because of Groovy.
