Nigerians in the diaspora also turned up in grand style on Monday to celebrate Britain’s longest reigning monarch, late Queen Elizabeth II.
Naija News recalls that Queen Elizabeth died at 96 years old on Thursday, 8th September.
The late Queen was laid to rest at Windsor Close to the remains of her parents, sister and the late Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip, her husband of nearly 74 years.
As the monarch buried the queen, many took to the street to mourn the Queen.
Some Nigerians in the diaspora were seen rocking stylish Ankara Asoebi (uniform) with the Queen’s face inscribed on it.
The latest development by the Nigerians is no doubt their own unique way of paying tribute to the late Monarch.

Meanwhile, the Lagos State House of Assembly has demanded the state government do more for prominent traditional rulers before and after their death.
A lawmaker representing Mushin Constituency 2, Hon. Olawale Abdulsobur Olayiwola pushed the motion during the plenary on Monday.
Olayi, while making reference to the Queen’s ceremonial burial held today, noted traditional rulers in Nigeria are never given adequate honour and recognition before and after their death.
The Speaker of the House, Mudashiru Obasa in his comment also laid emphasis on the honour of first-class royal fathers, noting that they should be celebrated even though it would not be easy to give such treatment to all traditional rulers.
