Samuel Kalu Can Make A Difference On The Pitch

Watford manager, Slaven Bilic has stated that Samuel Kalu will make a difference as soon as he recovers fully from his injury.

The manager revealed that the Super Eagles winger is gradually regaining his best form.

In the 2-1 triumph over Norwich City from the previous season, Kalu made his first appearance of the campaign for the Hornets.

Ismaila Sarr was replaced in the 90th minute by the winger, who has had trouble maintaining his fitness since joining the London club from Ligue 1 team, Girondis Bordeaux in January.

Bilic, while speaking to reporters said, “Kalu has been looking sharp. Offensively, he has that explosion and sharpness to beat a player, although, he is still not fully fit but he can still make a big impact for us”.

“I spoke with Kalu because when I came here, I was told his fitness levels were not good. I couldn’t understand how that could be when he wasn’t injured they had time to work on him well.

“Kalu is training very well and we can see in him something that makes us smile. He can beat players in a one v one and he is showing us he can make a difference on the pitch,” the manager stressed.
