Veteran Nollywood actress Genevieve Nnaji has reappeared at a public function, stirring reactions months after the reports that she was suffering from mental illness.
Naija News reports that the veteran actress has stayed away from social media, raising concerns amongst her fans.
Following her sudden disappearance, an Instagram blogger alleged that Genevieve Nnaji was hospitalized In America over mental illness.
The reports further noted that the 43-year-old actress’ had been drugs for a long time, but was covered up by friends and family.
However, in the viral photos that has surfaced social media, Genevieve Nnaji was being spotted publicly delivering a speech at an event in Abidjan.
The Nigerian actor, director, and producer who looks chubbier and more healthier spoke to delegates at the 2022 edition of Creative Africa Nexus, discussing the importance of the film industry to development in Africa.
