Presidential election: PDP’s Shehu Sani delivers polling unit

Former Senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District, Shehu Sani, has delivered his polling unit, PU Kaduna Tudun Wada North, Code 002 located at Qlkalawa Road, to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

DAILY POST observed that the exercise which comprised of the Presidential and National Assembly polls was peaceful at the unit.

The officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, and various party agents conducted themselves well.

Alkalawa is Senator Shehu Sani’s birthplace, and he is well-known and admired.

The PU results which were obtained by DAILY POST showed that in the presidential result, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP garnered PDP 88, APC 20, NNPP 23 and LP 2

Senate: PDP 86, APC 41, NNPP 9 and LP 0.

Meanwhile, results from the polling unit of the Labour Party’s Vice presidential candidate, Datti Baba-Ahmed showed that he was defeated by the Peoples Democratic Party by a wide margin.

The results obtained by DAILY POST showed: PDP 137, APC 92, Labour Party 5, and NNPP 16.
