The Police Service Fee has issued two weeks ultimatum to the Nigeria Police to conclude investigations on the case involving the suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari.
The event was contained in an announcement issued on Friday by the Head, Press and Public Relations of the Fee, Ikechukwu Ani.
The Fee additionally directed the police to make sure that the investigation is carried out by a special panel.
The directive is sequel to the Fee’s 14th plenary assembly in Abuja, chaired by retired Inspector-Common of Police and Chairman of the Fee, Musiliu Smith.
Recall that Mr Kyari was suspended on August 1, 2021, following suggestions by Inspector Common of Police, Usma Baba over his alleged ties with fraudster, Ramon Abbas, popularly known as Hushpuppi.
The suspension adopted a report by the Federal Bureau of Investigation of america of America which indicted Kyari within the case of fraud involving the Instagram superstar, Hushpuppi.
