Police arrest Lagos tricycle owners’ leader, others heading to fight NURTW

The Fast Response Squad (RRS) of Lagos State Police Command has arrested a Tricycle Homeowners and Operators Affiliation of Nigeria (TOOAN) chief, Azeez Abiola.

Popularly often called Istijaba, he and others have been on the verge of inflicting mayhem after they have been apprehended.

Others are Yusuf Azeez a.ok.a Araba (42), Kazeem Akinbo a.ok.a Womi (43), Taofiq Odewale, a.ok.a Omo Iya Agba (38), and Moses Abiodun a.ok.a Orobo (34).

They have been nabbed whereas main supporters to NURTW headquarters in Agege, an motion the authority believed would set off violence throughout Lagos.

Abiola and the remainder had a pump motion gun of their possession. His supporters fled to the scene to evade arrest after sighting officers.
