Former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Monday met with three governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Naija News learned.
The closed-door meeting Naija News understands was held at the elder statesman’s residence in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital.
In attendance at the meeting were the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo and Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State.
Former Governor of Cross River Governor, Donald Duke also was present at the meeting.
The state leaders arrived at Obasanjo’s Residence at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library at 6:40 pm.
It was gathered that the PDP leaders were at Obasanjo’s house to inform the former president of Wike’s presidential ambition.
