The Vice President candidate of Labour Party, Senator Yusuf Datti Ahmed on Sunday admonished youths as Nigeria’s biggest reality show, Big Brother Naija resumed another season.
Naija News reports that the season seven edition of the BBNaija show tagged ‘Level Up’ was launched on Saturday, July 23, 2022.
There are suspicions that the reality show will get the attention of many citizens who will be glued to their Tv screens and eventually pay less attention to political affairs.
In a tweet on Sunday morning, Datti-Ahmed who would be running the LP 2023 presidential ticket alongside former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, urged the supporters of the Obidient camp to remain focused and not be distracted by the BBNaija show.
Naija News understands that Peter Obi and Datti-Ahmed have the support of many Nigerians on social media.
“Dear #Obidients please don’t be distracted with the new season of the Tv show #BBNaija, we have a battle ahead of us,” Datti tweeted today.
Meanwhile, a former Kannywood actress, Fatti Mohammed has said that the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate Peter Obi can only win the 2023 election on social media.
The actress insisted that Nigerians have forgotten that elections are held in polling unit and not on social media.
“Peter Obi can only win elections on Twitter simply because his supporters have knowledge of twitter forgetting that elections happen in polling unit Not in Twitter page,” she wrote.
“Let me Speak with the language that you would understand much better….. Na only for Twitter Peter Obi fii win election not for polling unit. Becox em people Sabi sabi posting on Twitter, forgetting na for polling unit election denhappenappn, not in Twitter page,” she added.
