Peter Obi Meets Pastor David Ibiyeomie

The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi on Saturday met with the General Overseer of the Salvation Ministry, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Pastor David Ibiyeomie

The former Governor of Anambra State on Saturday continued his visit to top pastors in Nigeria, ahead of the 2023 race.

Obi in a post on his Twitter account disclosed that he exchanged ideas with Ibiyeomie on issues ranging from Godliness, diligence, to productiveness.

He wrote, “Always a pleasure to meet and share quiet moments with my friend and brother, Pastor @DavidIbiyeomie of Salvation Ministry PH.

“It was a rare privilege listening to you minister on Godliness, diligence and productiveness; three core values that I advocate for.

“Thanks for the graciousness, counsel and above all, constant prayers. God bless you.”

Obi’s visit is coming a few days after he visited the General Overseer of theee Omega Fire Ministries in Edo State.

Obi in his bid to emerge as President in 2023 has met with different clerics and attended several church conventions.

The former Governor of Anambra State had visited the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, with the General Overseer preaching, Enoch Adeboye.

Obi in July met with the General Overseer of the Living Faith Church, popularly known as Winners Chapel, David Oyedepo, at the church’s headquarters in Ota, Ogun State.

Recall that Obi at a time in the year also attended a church service at the Dunamis International Gospel Centre and met with the founder, Paul Enenche.
