PDP Reacts As 20 APC Senators Plan To Dump Party

Sunny Onuesoke, a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain and former Delta State gubernatorial candidate has debunked rumours of crisis in the party.

Speaking with DAILY POST during his visit to the PDP Headquarters, Wadata, Abuja, Onuesoke claimed that the unity of the party is intact throughout the country.

Onuesoke said the reports of a crisis in PDP are the imagination of the media, especially the opposition parties.

He said: “There is nothing like that. At best, it is in the imagination of the writers, particularly the opposition parties, who have not developed the capacity for a harmonious and an all-embracing selection processes for the good of their members”

The PDP Chieftain stated that those attempting to use false propaganda to suggest discontent among their leaders will be let down because the party will come out of this rumour stronger and prepared for victory in the 2023 general elections.

According to Onuesoke, what is currently happening in the PDP is a sign of true democracy where members are provided with the opportunity to compete and voice their opinions without hindrance

He added that the issues will be resolved as that of one family.
