Some notable pastors in Nigeria over the years have seen their names dragged in the mud over allegations of illegal s3xual acts with their church members or an outsider.
Allegations of s3xual acts are mostly heard among celebrities, however, in the past years, some clergymen have been linked to such acts.
The likes of Apostle Johnson Suleman of the Omega Fire Ministries, Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of the Common Wealth of Zion, and Bishop Francis Wale Oke, the Bishop of The Sword of the Spirit Ministries, also known as Christ Life Church were accused of inappropriate sexual behaviours.
Unlike so many clerics, Bishop Wale Oke in the 90s admitted to sleeping with a member of his church.
The confession of his sins before his congregation caused a historic setback in his ministry, however, the cleric is back on his feet and doing great.
With the case of Apostle Suleman in the news again after Stephanie Otobo made fresh allegations, Naija News has deemed it fit to share the list of some pastors who have been accused of such acts.
This is coming after Canadian singer, Stephanie Otobo released some pictures on her Twitter account claiming that it was taken during an intimate time with Apostle Suleman.

1. Apostle Johnson Suleman
Canadian singer, Stephanie Otobo levelled an allegation against Apostle Suleman in 2017, claiming that she had a sexual relationship with the cleric in the United States and Italy, an allegation which was denied by the cleric.
Otobo in 2018, came out to deny her earlier claims, adding that she was sponsored by politicians to damage the image of the cleric, however, a few hours ago (on Monday, 9th May, 2022), the singer took to her Twitter account to release sensitive images claiming that they are pictures of the cleric during one of their intimate moments.
2. Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo
Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo’s scandal started in 2013 when a blogger, Efe Walter accused him of having an affair with her.
The allegation was followed years later by the wife of popular singer, Timi Dakolo, Busola, accusing the cleric of raping her when she was a teenager.
The cleric, however, won the case when it was brought to the court. The court had ruled that there was not enough evidence against Fatoyinbo.
3. Bishop Wale Oke
Bishop Francis Wale Oke of the Sword of the Spirit Ministries, also known as Christ Life Church took many Nigerians by surprise in the 90s after he confessed to his sexual relationship with his secretary.
The cleric confessed before his church members that he has been having an affair with his secretary, a development which affected his ministry.
However, years after Bishop Wale Oke is doing great and his ministry is back on track.
4. Pastor Joshua Iginla
The Senior Pastor of Champions Royal Assembly years back confessed that he and his wife, Yemisi had children out of wedlock.
Iginla during a service claimed that his wife brought an illegitimate child into their home, and he forgave her, but that she refused to forgive him when he had his own child with another woman.
