Pastor Kumuyi Storms Atiku’s Homestate, Speaks On 2023 General Elections

The founder and General Superintendent of the Deeper Life Bible Church, William Kumuyi, on Wednesday (today), cautioned Nigerians against playing politics of sentiment in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.

The renowned clergyman gave the advisory today when he arrived in Yola, Adamawa State capital ahead of his church’s global crusade scheduled to commence on Thursday, November 24, 2022.

Kumuyi acknowledged that Nigeria is still the Giant of Africa by population, but admonished that the country needs to extend the title on every side.

Naija News understands that Kumuyi made the submission while interacting with newsmen at the Yola International Airport today.

According to him, what will make Nigeria a truly great country is choosing leaders with the credibility and capacity to achieve development, not the party or religion that the leaders profess.

He said: “Those eligible to vote should look at the people asking for vote and examine what we know about them. We are not voting by sentiment, we are not voting because of religion. We are voting for people who we believe that as individuals will make our country great.

“We are still the giant in Africa by population, but we need to be giant in every area and so we want to vote for people who can get us there.”

Naija News understands that Kumuyi is expected to be in Yola for a week as Deeper Life Bible Church commences six-day ‘Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK)’ starting tomorrow.

Recall that Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, hails from Adamawa State.
