Voting in the Naira and Kobo, Ward 9, Polling Unit 4, Ikire, Irewole Local government, Osun State has suffered a setback

The card reader in the polling unit stopped working around 12:30 pm while people were jostling to vote.

At Ward 5, Unit 14, Holy Cross Primary School in Ikire, it is currently 1:06 pm, and the people there are rushing around because the officials from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) are expected to finish the exercise at 2:30 pm.

According to the officials, there were no reports of any disturbances during the voting process at the polling unit.

Meanwhile, the Oluwo of Iwoland, Oba Abdulrosheed Akanbi on Saturday vowed to deliver 90,000 votes for the current Governor of the Osun State and governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress, Gboyega Oyetola.

Oba Akanbi stated this on Saturday after casting his vote at Unit 1 Ward 2, in Iwo town Iwo Local Government. Read more
