Ogun: Wife stabs husband’s nephew to death for breaking mirror

A 30-year-old spouse, Cynthia Olukiowu of two, Apogidonoyo avenue, Jafa Agbado, Ogun State, has reportedly stabbed her husband’s nephew, Habeeb Aremu, to demise.

Olukiowu was arrested yesterday after the police at Agbado division obtained a misery name that she had stabbed the 18-year-old teenager to demise after accusing him of breaking a mirror.

NAIJATABLOID learnt {that a} minor discord had ensued over who broke the mirror and this snowballed into the lady selecting a knife from the kitchen, with which she stabbed the boy to demise.

Confirming the incident on Sunday, Ogun State police picture maker, Abimbola Oyeyemi, disclosed that the allegation concerning the damaged mirror “led to a disagreement between the deceased and his uncle’s spouse, subsequent upon which the suspect took a kitchen knife and used it to stab the deceased on his neck.”

In response to Oyeyemi, the DPO of Agbado division, CSP Kehinde Kuranga, had upon the misery name, led his males to the scene, the place the suspect was arrested.

He defined that the sufferer, who was met within the pool of his personal blood, was rushed to hospital, the place he was confirmed useless by the physician on responsibility, including that his corpse was deposited at Ifo Basic Hospital mortuary for post-mortem.

In the meantime, the Commissioner of Police in Ogun, Lanre Bankole, had ordered switch of the suspect to the murder part of the State CIID for additional investigation and diligent prosecution. Supply: DailyPost
