The Nationwide Universities Fee NUC has authorized the conversion of Lagos State Polytechnic, LASPOTECH to Lagos State College of Science and Know-how.
Additionally authorized for conversion is the Adeniran Ogunsunya School of Schooling in addition to Micheal Otedola School of Schooling to Lagos State College of Schooling.
The conversion adopted an official request by the Lagos State authorities to the NUC, to spice up the admission quota of scholars from the state who’re desirous of college training.
The state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu who was on the NUC headquarters on Tuesday, to select up the provisional licenses, pledged to make assets obtainable for the sleek operating of each establishments.
He described training as pivotal to the expansion and growth of any society, therefore the funding in tertiary establishments within the state.
The NUC Govt Secretary, Professor Abubakar Rasheed whereas presenting the letter of recognition to each establishments, urged them to focus on science and technology-driven training as a way of bridging the hole in that sector. Supply: DailyPost
