Nigerian Music legend, Eedris Abdulkareem has mentioned the President Muhammadu Buhari-led authorities will quickly begin arresting Nigerians for talking Igbo.
Eedris mentioned this whereas condemning the arrest of Veteran Nollywood actor, Chiwetalu Agu.
DAILY POST remembers that Chiwetalu Agu was arrested on Thursday by the Nigerian Military for carrying Biafra regalia.
The Nigerian Military confirmed he was arrested for inciting members of the general public and soliciting assist for IPOB.
In a put up on his Instagram web page, Abdulkareem mentioned Agu deserved to be honoured within the East for his courageous act.
Describing Buhari’s authorities as a ineffective one, he wrote: “Irrespective of the form of movie Chiwetalu Agu acts he’s extra sensible and courageous than different actors within the East and should be honored.
“Individuals will quickly be arrested for talking Igbo in Nigeria.”
