Read through his replies to the questions below: –

Question: Hi DJ, please tell us about yourself.

DJ Maf Dee: I’m Moses Bitrus Bugama, aka DJ Maf Dee. I was born in Kaduna and brought up in Jos Plateau state.

Question: Tell us about your journey and how did you start DJing?

DJ Maf Dee: My Journey as a DJ was quite stressful. I started Learning how to DJ in 2013 when I was still in secondary school, class JSS3. By then, I did not have a laptop and I was using my friend’s Laptop to learn. From there, I picked up some things, and he also taught me how to mix but not 100%. I would say he taught me about 40% of how to DJ. As time went on, I found someone who had the complete instruments for djing then I started working with him. Big shoutout to DJ Crowzy for putting me along the line for good 8years. I was humble and calm to learn everything in time during my stay with him. I labored hard to get my first laptop which was not easy for me to get the money for a good one week.

Before I bought a laptop, I rented one before I could go play at my gigs because I had clients on the ground who always gave me outside gigs. I would always have issues with my dad because he didn’t like me staying out late. I would normally come back home from 11 pm to 12 am, and no one supported me then except my mom who stood by me up to where I am today. I keep pushing hard every day, hoping that God will do it one day and it will become another story tell.
