Some notable names in the football world are set to miss the 2022 FIFA World Cup scheduled to hold in Qatar in the next eleven days.

The famous players are set to miss the highly anticipated tournament due to injuries sustained in club matches.

The 2022 World Cup in Qatar was fixed for the month of November and December which is the middle of the European club season.

With the time fixed for the tournament, some players had been ruled out by injuries sustained while playing for their clubs.

In the previous editions of the World Cup, players had weeks to recover before the kickoff of the tournament, because it was been held while the European club season has ended.
