A white garment church pastor who poured hot candle wax inside the private part of one 13-year-old teenage has been punished by the court.
Court sentenced Mishack Aguebere on Thursday to two years imprisonment after he was found guilty of sexual assault and child abuse.
Naija News understands that the magistrate court sitting in Port Harcourt, Rivers state captial, in South South Nigeria, sentenced the man claiming to be a pastor.
The teenage girl who is the victim was under the care of Aguebere.
The police charged the suspect under section 222 of the criminal code of Rivers state after he confessed to having s3xually assaulted the teenage who is a niece to his wife.
The assault came while the girl was living inside the white garment church in Rumuomasi area of Port Harcourt.
Chief Magistrate Felicitas Amanze told the BBC Pidgin that the teenage girl sustained a forceful tear of her hymen whilst lamenting the frequent cases of child abuse and rape in Nigeria
Amanze said; “Medical report shows what the pastor did to the victim that made the teenage to sustain a forceful tear of her hymen and other medical condition the police tendered to the court.”
The Magistrate also added that the teenage girl has been ‘psychological traumatized’ following the incident.
