Lisa Marie paid $400,000 monthly for detox from alcohol – Report

Lisa Marie-Presley, the late singer and songwriter who was the only child of the late Elvis Presley, was rumored to have spent up to $400,000 per month to detox from alcohol, painkillers, and antidepressants.

After suffering a cardiac arrest and being taken to a hospital in California, Lisa passed away in January.

The only daughter of Elvis and Michal Jackson’s ex-wife was 54 years old.

For a very long time, Lisa had battled addiction. According to Marca Lifestyle, she entered a rehab facility after calling it quits with her fourth husband, Michael Lockwood.

Lisa Marie was discovered unconscious by her housekeeper, who called an ambulance, while her ex-husband, Danny Keough, performed CPR until paramedics arrived.

Like father like daughter, Lisa Marie Presley and Elvis Presley also struggled with pain pills as an insider mentioned “Lisa Marie said she would die if she didn’t get help” in 2016 following her breakup.

“She has a private detox team for $400,000 a month, and all of the doctors go to her quarters,” another source claimed.
Priscilla Presley was preoccupied with her daughter’s fight against addiction and “visited her more than once” according to Radar, which also reported sources claimed her pain pill addiction began before she split from Michael Jackson claiming she had “excruciating back pain.” Others claim that the “terrible scandal with her husband (Michael) abusing her finances” made life very difficult for her.

Insiders claim Lisa had a “complete emotional breakdown, she just spun out of control and fell off the wagon.”

Lisa started using drugs when she was 13 years old until she was 17 and had a life of relapse, Marca report added.

“I did everything but mushrooms and heroin… or crack,” she was quoted to have said.

Elvis’ only child went to the Church of Scientology programme after she partied for 72 hours straight and woke up with people on the floor.

“Cocaine, sedatives, pot, and drinking – all at the same time… I don’t know how I lived through it,” Lisa Marie said.

“I woke up one day with a bunch of people on the floor. I drove myself to the Church of Scientology and said, ‘Somebody… help me right now.’”
